Food vendors were spread along the festival grounds, not tucked in a corner. At the event I attended last month there were about a dozen stands and trucks lining the main path, mixing quick bites with sit-down options. You’ll find a lot of handheld stuff: tacos, gyros, bao buns, veggie bowls, gourmet burgers, street corn, and various fried snacks, plus pastry and dessert carts. I grabbed a spicy chicken taco from a small truck, split a falafel wrap, and chased it with a lemon-ginger smoothie. There were ramen bowls, shawarma plates, and even a couple of coffee carts for a caffeine lift. Most stalls label vegan or gluten-free choices, which helps when you’re dining with friends with different needs.

Pro tips from my day: bring both cash and card if possible; lines peak around noon, so go a little early or later; mains usually run 8, 12 dollars, snacks 4, 7, drinks 2, 5; consider splitting dishes to taste more. If you’re hungry, plan a quick tasting tour with a friend and hit a couple of different carts.

Food vendors were everywhere, taco trucks, kebabs, crepes; I especially enjoyed fresh falafel.
