Fees to move Bitcoin between wallets aren’t tied to the amount you send, they’re tied to the transaction size (bytes) and how busy the network is. Some wallets auto-pick a fee, others let you set low/normal/high. In my experience, a typical transfer of a few hundred bytes costs a couple of dollars when the mempool isn’t crowded. I’ve seen it be around $0.50, $1.50 for calm days, and jump to $4, $7 if the network is backed up. If you’re not in a hurry, choose a lower fee or wait for lighter congestion. You can also batch transfers or use Lightning for cheap, instant moves between supported wallets. Always peek at the current fee estimate in your wallet before sending.

From my experience, moving BTC between wallets costs a miner fee that fluctuates with congestion, roughly $1, 3 on normal days, $5, 15 at peaks.

From my experience, moving BTC between wallets costs the miner fee, not the transfer amount. On quiet days I pay around $1, 3; when the network is busy it jumps to $5, 15. Fees depend on data size (bytes), not how much BTC you send. If you’re not in a rush, pick a lower priority or wait for calmer times.
